Sculpture Hunt is a series of works where physical reality and digital reality meet. You are invited for a walk in the western part of Reykjavík, with a guided map on your phone, and the possibility of collecting artworks into a digital bag through the website; sculpture-hunt.com. Some of the works are only visible in digital form and made in connection with the places on the map, while others are tangible sculptures. All the works have in common that they require the viewer to be physically present in order to have the opportunity to experience the work. Programmer: Jón Lorange.
Part of The Wheel V: All Is Well, a group exhibition of eight artists in public space initiated by the Reykjavík Association of Sculptors and part of Reykjavik Arts Festival. Curated by Kristín Dagmar Jóhannesdóttir.
